Nostalgic sweets, artfully refined.
~ Opening in 2026 ~
Some of my earliest memories are of baked goods.
Christmas cookies covering very inch of my family’s large dining table.
Cherishing the scent of yeast as I impatiently waited for bread dough to rise — trying to follow my mother’s instructions to not lift the tea towel to check its progress.
Visiting the tiny local German bakery, Frederick’s, on Sunday mornings with my dad. (His favorites were chocolate Long Johns, and I always got a Peanut Square.)
Butter and flour coating those molded cake pans that were so popular for kids’ birthdays in the 80s and 90s.
Sharing my mother’s Irish Soda Bread with my school class each St. Patrick’s Day.
Now, baking has become my own cherished pastime, one I’ve introduced to my partner, Matthew.
Whether it’s for a work potluck, a business event, a family celebration, or just a little treat for you…
We’re overjoyed to share our confections with you when Merry Berry Confection Co. opens in 2026.
A thoughtfully-crafted cookie is are more than a “treat yourself” moment.
It’s an invitation.
Pull up a chair…
Linger a little longer…
Share a warm, cozy moment…
Make space for laughter with neighbors and new friends…
A Merry Berry cookie tray on the table has a way of softening the room, opening conversations, and making everyone feel a little more at home.
Sharing confections like ours is, simply put, a way to connect. A way to build community.
In an ever more divisive world, we know how meaningful even the smallest shared moment can be. And we want to help create more of them.
Every small batch we bake is designed to nurture connection, warmth, and delight:
• a box of cookies gifted to someone who needs a lift
• a holiday tray that sees families returning to a shared table
• a dessert bar that turns a wedding into a story
• a neighbor-to-neighbor delivery that makes the Triangle feel a little more like a village
By staying intentionally small, local, and people-centered, we get to know the community we serve — so we can bake for you like we bake for our own table.
Because at the end of the day, community is built the same way cookies are…
With warmth, care, and the simple belief that everything is better when shared.
